We’re into our second week of Sleeptember and in a bid to get the nation to try and sleep better, we’ve launched a Sleep Diary.
Sleep is something we all do, yet nearly half of us don’t do it well. And considering we spend a third of our lives in bed, we really should be doing it right!
Sleep is essential to health and wellbeing. Just as important as say, diet and exercise. Yet unfortunately we don’t seem to put as much emphasis on it. We’re happy to spend hundreds of pounds on gym memberships, slimming clubs, exercise DVDs and diet food but put sleep at the bottom of the pile.
Without good quality sleep our health suffers, our love life suffers, work suffers and the list goes on.
So for Sleeptember we’re urging you to look at your sleep – and we’re arming you with our Sleep Diary to do just that.
While it’s important to make sure you get enough sleep, it’s equally important to look at the quality of sleep you get and the factors that may be stopping you from getting that elusive good night’s kip.
Keeping a sleep diary gives you a chance to review and monitor your sleep habits and it’s easy to use – just complete each morning and before you go to bed. You can find it here.
